Comic - Friday Night in Waiuku
Comic strip developed and designed by Waiuku teens giving an insight into the use of alcohol at teen parties and the choice that adults can make not to have alcohol present. The story develops from a recreational fishing trip for the teenagers and progresses to a five year old birthday party where things go well until a member of the whanau arrives with alcohol and the potential to ruin the party. He is warned that this is against the family policy and quickly removes the alcohol from the premises, resulting in a happy ending/safe night for all the party members. |
